We know that committing to an alternative commute still means that sometimes you need a little flexibility. With every Revise Your Ride benefit comes additional options to use as needed: Guaranteed Ride Home: Would you consider another mode of transportation, but you’re afraid of being stranded at work when there’s an emergency at home or you have to work late unexpectedly? With the Guaranteed Ride Home program, you can call us in cases of emergency and we will arrange your ride home. Emergency rides home are provided in cases of personal illness or emergency, family illness or emergency, or unscheduled or unplanned overtime. TPS cannot provide emergency rides home for severe weather, transit delays or disruptions, construction impacts to commutes, building evacuations, or scheduled meetings/overtime. Carshare Membership (temporarily paused): Need to run errands during lunch but don’t have your own car on campus? Request your complimentary membership to the University carshare program and rent a car for the hour at a low rate. Daily parking passes: Some days, you just need to drive to work. Use up to 12 daily parking permits per semester in Lot 20, West Garage, North Garage, Harrison Street, or approved off-campus locations for those rare days when they need to drive to campus. Participants will need to activate daily permits on the My Transportation. Revise Your Ride FAQ How do I know if I am benefits-eligible and can participate in Revise Your Ride? While benefit-eligible may vary by employment type, particularly for visiting faculty and staff, a good rule of thumb is if you are paid directly by Princeton University and have access to HR benefits (health insurance, retirement fund, etc.), you are likely eligible for Revise Your Ride. If you have any questions about your eligibility status, please contact [email protected]. I use a number of different ways to get to work, can I combine commuter benefits? University employees and students are limited to one Revise Your Ride incentive at a time. Please select the benefit that best represents your primary commute. If you have any questions, please reach out to [email protected]. I am not commuting to campus every day I work, can I still qualify for Revise Your Ride? Individuals working on campus 3 days a week or more qualify for Revise Your Ride, as these benefits are provided for individuals that commit to using one of the five alternative transportation choices (bike/walk, bus, transit, carpool, or vanpool) as their primary commute.
