Ivy Lane Impacts

Expected campus impacts

Construction related to the University’s campus plan, specifically the ES & SEAS project and Stadium Drive Garage will temporarily impact parking locations and availability. Thank you for your understanding and patience during this period of unprecedented campus construction. 

Pathways (Phase 2)

January 31, 2022 and March 1, 2022. Detour will be paths along the south side of Lewis Library and Peyton utilizing a portion of Stadium Drive. ADA access to Lewis Library will be maintained as is through Fine Hall to the entrances on the south side of Lewis. ADA access to Peyton will utilize a portion of Stadium Drive which will connect to the sidewalk along Ivy Lane and then to the accessible entrance on the north side of Peyton.

Pathways (Phase 3)

March 1, 2022 to Fall 2024. Detour will be paths along the south side of Lewis Library and Peyton utilizing a portion of Stadium Drive. ADA access to Lewis Library will be maintained as is through Fine Hall to the entrances on the south side of Lewis. ADA access to Peyton will be on the west side (pending final details).

 

Effective January 31, 2022

  • Lot 25, Ivy Club, and Lot 14 are closed indefinitely.
     
  • Western Way/Ivy Lane between Washington Road and FitzRandolph Road closed to vehicle traffic.
     
  • Sidewalk on Western Way between FitzRandolph Rd and stadium is open.

 

Where do I park?

If you are assigned to an Ivy Lane lot (Lots 4, 5, 14, 25, or 26):

  • Before January 31, 2022: You may continue parking in the available Ivy Lane lots, with the temporary parking at your reassigned lot serving as overflow. Please note, Ivy Lane parking availability is expected to be extremely limited by mid-morning (9 AM). 
     
  • Starting January 31, 2022: Please park in your reassigned lot until further notice.  

Parking reassignments are based on your primary building unless notified by TPS directly. Please identify your campus zone on the right and see details about your lot reassignments below.

East of Washington Road and north of Prospect Ave is reassigned to North Garage. East of Washington Road and south of Prospect Ave is reassigned to Harrison Street. West of Washington Road is reassigned to West Garage and Harrison Street.

East Campus

    Work in a building east of Washington Road and south of Prospect Avenue? Your temporary parking assignment is Harrison Street (Google Street address: 404 Butler Avenue, Princeton, NJaccessible off of Hartley Avenue.

    Temporary parking off of Hartley Avenue (Approximate GPS Address: 404 Butler Ave, Princeton 08540) with TigerTransit Service direct to Washington Road.

     

    North Campus

    Work in a building east of Washington Road and north of Prospect Avenue? Your parking is reassigned to North Garage, and your overflow lot is Lot 2.

    GPS Address: North Garage, Princeton, NJ 08540. Garage facilities include electric vehicle charging and carpool/vanpool parking spaces.

     

    West Campus

    Work in a building west of Washington Road? You may choose to park in West Garage or Harrison Street.

    West Garage

    GPS Address: West Garage, Princeton, NJ 08540. Garage facilities include electric vehicle charging and carpool/vanpool parking spaces.

       

      • Approximately 10 to 12-minute walk / 5-minute bike ride to Nassau Street or Washington Road.
         
      • Frequent shuttle service available from the crosswalk between the Lewis Arts Complex and Princeton Station to Nassau Street and Washington Road (Route 4). approximately a 5 to 10-minute trip.Check the real-time bus location on TripShot or view the next available bus by stop.
         
      • If West Garage is full, you may park in Lot 20 as overflow.

      Harrison Street

      Temporary parking off of Hartley Avenue (Approximate GPS Address: 404 Butler Ave, Princeton 08540) with TigerTransit Service direct to Washington Road.
