Departmental permits Department permits for campus lots Departments requiring transportation between campus buildings that are not serviced by a TigerTransit route may request a limited number of departmental parking permits. Once approved, these virtual permits are self-managed by department administrator(s), allowing for a maximum of two vehicles to park in a designated lot(s) proximal to campus at one time. Request departmental permits by contacting The Service Point. Department guests permits Parking for department guests invited to campus must be arranged with The Service Point. Contractors, service providers, or vendor permits Outside businesses or individuals hired by University departments who require on-campus parking and/or main campus access, must have a University virtual parking permit. University department contacts or University project managers must obtain a parking permit or access on their behalf. Requests can be made to Transportation and Parking Services. Elm Drive access In order to maintain safety for all and livable space for Princeton’s undergraduate residents, unauthorized vehicles are restricted from accessing Princeton’s historic core at all times. If you require access via Elm Drive, authorization from Transportation and Parking Services is required at least two business days in advance. Please have your department administrator or manager complete the Elm Drive Access Form. Get your permit A valid virtual parking permit is required to park on campus.
